A & G Performance Team is designed to provide a stepping stone between Recreational Dance and Company Level Dance.
These dancers will be a team separate from our A & G Dance Company team, with a higher expectation than recreation classes. Performance Team is geared toward those dancers who may not be ready for a full competitive load yet, or who don’t feel they can make the full AGDC commitment but are ready to challenge themselves and perform more through the year than just at the annual recital. This is a great opportunity for dancers looking to advance their skills with additional classes and choreography. Dancers will compete with their team at two competitions within the Tampa Bay Area. In past years Performance Team has competed as Groups and Trios in genres such as Hip Hop, Musical Theatre, Tap and Contemporary.
As a segment of A & G Dance Academy, we pride ourselves on presenting ourselves with excellence. From the dancing with present to the manner and ways at which we carry ourselves and the way our teams present themselves.
Our teams, is not just a team, we are a family!
They are the ones who will support and cheer for EVERYONE. We do not allow drama, unkind behavior, laziness, or unwillingness to take part in a commitment. We strive to create a supportive and heathy, uplifting atmosphere where dancers feel safe to express themselves and have the desire to work hard. We expect parents and dancers to support the team and the decisions of the directors.
