Amarilys is originally from Tampa, where she began dancing when she was 4 years old. She received the majority of her training at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy, where she was a diligent competitor. She has studied all forms of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, and modern. Additionally, Amarilys has studied gymnastics and acrobatics and has been teaching the genre for five years. Her passion for dance continued throughout college, where she was a member of the Golden Girls. She received her bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. Amarilys has taught through Universal Dance Association and various studios throughout the United States. She has a true ambition to see her students grow and flourish into the best dancers they can be.
