Amarilys Cruz

Amarilys is a passionate and dedicated dance instructor originally from Tampa, Florida, who has been immersed in the world of dance since the age of 4. Her journey began at Mary Jo’s Performing Arts Academy, where she quickly became a committed competitor, excelling in a wide range of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theater, and modern. Alongside her dance training, Amarilys also studied gymnastics and acrobatics, which she has now been teaching for over ten years.

Her love for dance continued to flourish through college, where she was a proud member of the Golden Girls at Florida State University. There, she further honed her skills and deepened her passion for performance. Amarilys earned her bachelor’s degree from FSU, solidifying her foundation in both dance and education.

In addition to her formal education, Amarilys has taught through the Universal Dance Association and worked with various dance studios across the United States. Her diverse experience has given her a broad perspective on dance education and a deep understanding of how to help students develop their full potential. Amarilys is driven by a true ambition to see her students grow, pushing them to not only reach but exceed their goals and become the best dancers they can be.

With her extensive training, experience, and dedication to her craft, Amarilys is a passionate educator committed to nurturing and inspiring the next generation of dancers.
