Katie Gehringer

Katie Gehringer, a native of St. Petersburg, Florida, has been captivated by dance since the age of 8 when she first stepped into a tap class. Her love for movement blossomed quickly, and within a year, she had mastered multiple dance styles, from jazz to ballet, broadening her skills and passion. By the time Katie was 14, her natural teaching abilities began to shine. She was already leading her own classes and assisting seasoned instructors at her local dance studio, realizing that dance wasn’t just her passion—it was her calling.

At just 18 years old, Katie and her co-owner, Tiffany Avey, took a bold step and opened the doors of A&G Dance Academy. Their vision was to create more than just a dance studio; they wanted to build a space where students could grow, not only as dancers but as confident individuals. A place where they could thrive in a positive, supportive environment—one where they loved to be.

Katie’s commitment to her students is nothing short of inspiring. Her energy and passion for teaching are contagious, and her love for watching her students grow is what drives her every day.
